CRAIG SCHULMAN RETURNS AS JEAN VALJEAN IN LES MISÉRABLES BEGINNING TUESDAY, MARCH 3rd
MR. SCHULMAN HAS PLAYED THE ROLE OVER 1,700 TIMES, MORE THAN ANY OTHER ACTOR IN THE WORLD

Craig Schulman returns to the role of Jean Valjean in the Broadway production of Les Misérables beginning Tuesday evening, March 3rd at the Imperial Theater (249 West 45th Street). Mr. Schulman has played the role of Valjean more than any other actor in the world, racking up over 1,700 performances since 1988, in four companies and three countries. He has received unanimous critical praise in all the cities he has performed the role, including a review in The Boston Globe that proclaimed, "Craig Schulman may just be the best Valjean of all." This will mark Mr. Schulman's sixth engagement with the Broadway company of Les Misérables.

Mr. Schulman was invited to represent the United States in the 10th Anniversary Concert of Les Misérables in London. He was also the first actor in the U.S. to have portrayed both Valjean and the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera. In addition to his long association with Les Misérables, Mr. Schulman has performed extensively in the worlds of theater, opera and symphonic pops concerts. He is the founder of the concert series Bravo Broadway!, Stars of Broadway and Craig Schulman in Concert.

The cast of Les Misérables currently includes Robert Gallagher as Javert, Juliet Lambert as Fantine, Sarah Uriarte Berry as Eponine, Peter Lockyer as Marius, Nick Wyman as Thénardier, Fuschia Walker as Madame Th7eacute;nardier and Stephen R. Buntrock as Enjolras.
