TAYLOR JOHN, 10 YEAR OLD SON OF BASEBALL LEGEND TOMMY JOHN, RETURNS TO Les Misérables FOR TWO WEEKS BEGINNING MONDAY, AUGUST 10TH
July 31, 1992-Taylor John will return to the role of Gavroche in the Cameron Mackintosh production of Les Misérables for two weeks only beginning Monday evening, August 10th at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). He previously played Gavroche in the National Touring Company of Les Misérables for one year before moving to Broadway for six months.
Taylor is the son of baseball legend, New York Yankees pitcher, Tommy John. On Sunday, August 9th, the day before he is to return to Les Misérables, Taylor will sing the National Anthem at Yankee Stadium.
The Broadway production of Les Misérables also features Mark McKerracher as Jean Valjean, Richard Kinsey as Javert, Eric Kunze as Marius, Melissa Anne Davis as Cosette, Michele Maika as Eponine, Drew Eshelman as Thenardier, Evalyn Baron as Madame Thenardier and Lawrence Anderson as Enjolras.
