Fantine

Website

Genevieve is ecstatic to be making her Toronto stage debut after receiving rave reviews performing Fantine with the U.S. National Touring Company in the longest running musical in the world!

After graduating from the École Supérieure de Théâtre Musical in Montréal, she immediately began performing in acclaimed French productions such as Les Enfants de Donquichote, Devant Les Maîtres, Bliss and Les Déesses. This Quebec songbird immersed herself in Broadway standards and appeared in A Chorus Line, Side Show and, before embarking on the Les Mis U.S. tour, Guys And Dolls at the Segal Centre in Montreal where she previously performed alongside Theodore Bikel and Patsy Gallant in the musical adaptation of Lies My Father Told Me.

Sincere gratitude to Sir Cameron Mackintosh for the opportunity to take over the iconic role of Fantine. Special thanks to my family and friends for their constant support and to Sandie Newton for believing in me!
