Trevor Nunn

Trevor Nunn started directing in 1962 when he won an ABC Director’s scholarship to become the resident director of the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry. In 1964 he joined the RSC and in 1968 was made the company’s youngest ever artistic director. Trevor was responsible for running the RSC until he retired from the post in 1986. From 1997 to 2003 Trevor was director of the National Theatre. Trevor has worked extensively in theatre, opera and musical theatre.
