Simon Bowman


Simon was born in Cardiff and trained at Mountview Theatre School.

Simon created the role of Chris in the Original West End production of Miss Saigon at Theatre Royal Drury Lane opposite Lea Salonga, Simon recently re-united with Lea for a series of concerts in Manilla.

Theatre: Blondel (Old Vic/Aldwych Theatre); Eddie in Mack & Mabel (Aldwych Theatre); Young Elvis in the Award-winning Are You Lonesome Tonight? (Phoenix Theatre); Marius and Jean Valjean in Les Misérables (Palace/Queens Theatre’s) and Vernon Gersh in They’re Playing Our Song (Olympia Theatre, Dublin).

Simon played Kangaroo in JUST SO (Watermill Theatre, Newbury); Poetry in Motion (Richmond Theatre); Raoul and Phantom in The Phantom Of The Opera (Her Majesty’s Theatre), Che in Evita (Isle of Man) and Elvis in This is Elvis (UK National Tour).

Simon performed in Bill Kenwright’s 50th Anniversary Concert (London Palladium) and lead vocals for Elvis Symphonic Concert Tour (London Royal Symphonic Orchestra).

Recently, Simon has been performing concerts in Europe with Robbie Williams, Nicole Scherzinger, Rod Stewart, Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey and Lionel Richie. 

Simon’s debut solo CD One Night With You was released on Jay Records and he is near-completion of his first self-penned album, due to be released in 2020. Simon has also written and recorded a new musical with John Sinclair (formally of Uriah Heep) for future release.
