James Hume

Training: Royal Academy of Music (Winner of Toni Fell competition and Hilda Deane Award for Outstanding Achievement), Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Theatre credits include: Most recently Bamatabois (understudied and played the role of Thenardier) in Les Misérables (Queens Theatre), Park Keeper/Von Hussler (understudy George Banks) in Mary Poppins (International tour), Bamatabois (understudy Javert and Bishop of Digne) in Les Misérables (International tour), Mr Etches in the original London cast of Titanic (Southwark Playhouse and Toronto), Michaud in Thérèse Raquin (Park Theatre), Gringoire in Quasimodo (King’s Head Theatre) Mother Goose (Qdos). As Director, Bye Bye Birdie (All Star Productions - Off West Award nomination for Best Musical) and Morker (Southwark Playhouse).  As Assistant Director, Carousel (Arcola) and Bat Boy (Southwark Playhouse). 

Workshops include: Daniel in Babylon (Solid Rainbow), The Guinea Pig Club (Perfect Pitch), Broken Wings : a new musical (AM Productions)

Recordings include: Thérèse Raquin (Jay Records) Broken Wings - Concept Album (Auburn Jam Productions) 

Concerts include: Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebration (ITV/Windsor Castle), Berlin – a new musical (Bloomsbury Theatre), You Are Home (St. James Studio), BBC Radio Anniversary Concert (Radio House Theatre) and Anya Hindmarch: The Handbag Chorus (London Fashion Week).
