Nic Gray

Nic studied at The Central School of Speech and Drama in London gaining a BA Honours in Theatre Sound.

He started his career touring and in London as a sound mixer, including CML’s My Fair Lady and Mary Poppins (UK Tours), Marguerite (London) and Mamma Mia! (International Tour).

Nic started his association with Mick Potter as the No. 1 mixer on the 25th Anniversary Tour of Les Misérables and was involved in the 25th Anniversary Concert (O2 Arena, London). For Mick, he has mixed The Phantom of the Opera (25th Anniversary Tour), The Wizard of Oz (London), Miss Saigon (London) and Half A Sixpence (London). He has also mixed The Light in The Piazza at
the Royal Festival Hall with the Opera North Orchestra, and Carousel, Chess and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard at the London Coliseum with the ENO Orchestra.

Nic is Associate Designer for Mick Potter on The Phantom of the Opera worldwide with productions since 2014 including Moscow, Oberhausen, Stockholm, São Paulo, Copenhagen, World Tour, UK / Ireland Tour and the upcoming production at Sydney Opera House. Nic is thrilled to be a part of the return of The Phantom of the Opera in London. Also, for Mick, Nic is Associate Designer for Les Misérables worldwide including productions in Spain, South Korea, Toronto, Sydney, Tokyo, São Paulo, Mexico City, US and UK / European Tours, and for Miss Saigon in Tokyo and Vienna.
